An update
Air con man came out, could not find a leak. He did both a positive and negative pressure test and pressure remained good. Checked with a dye and still nothing seen
Could have been one of those things that in time the gas needs replacing but I doubt it. anyway he re-gassed it
Will have to monitor it and see what happens.
