I had a VFR, "sports tourer" but I never found it that comfortable over distance. After as little as 50 miles I started moving around the seat.

Had a Commando . . . . at the same time as a 1500cc Goldwing! The contrast was interesting!
Think the best bike I had was the ST1100. Comfortable, great for distance. I had one of the first in the country. I went into my local bike shop for something and they'd just got the demonstrator. Threw me the keys and I was hooked before I got to the end of the road.
