The DMC 12 was never designed to be a right hand drive car, although they were adapted and some converted.
Wikipedia states 16 were made at the factory. My grandfather worked at the plant for a short time, and from him, I learned they werent expected to sell in the UK. Not at first, and certainly not of the 12. Although they (the workforce) were told that in the future more models would come.
