I feel your pain! Been there. I don' know anywhere close to you , but after another MG rover specialist couldn't do it I went to South Coast Garage, 16 Maple Rd, Eastbourne, England. It doesn't look much but with a bit of muscle and a thermal coil round the bolt, they got the job done. If you wanted a run out to the seaside, it could be worthwhile.
