Well not today, but at the weekend…
- On RKZ:
- replaced front sidelights with original bulbs, as one of the led bulbs fitted was flickering, also causing the Xenons to flicker.
- cleaned out debris from all 4 windows using a flat blade screwdriver wrapped in cloth and soaked in soapy water.
- treated the window rubber surrounds with Autoglym Vinyl and bumper Care. Forgot to do the boot seal rubber🙄.
- cleaned the drivers side switchpack to get mirror switches operating again.
On Various cars:
- replaced the wipers on 3 of the fleet. Went for Bosch again as 4 sets were £55.36 from Aceparts_uk on eBay.
- changed out 2 key fobs with new ones bought from eBay seller flysky2019. Only tested 1 set and it’s not fantastic. Locks ok, but the “open” function is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes It can take multiple try’s, by pressing very hard on the fob. It’s like there is very little “give” on the plastic area that has to be pressed. I’ll probably take the fob apart again to check that the pcb / micro switch is in the correct location, as the pcb locator pins and securing tabs are missing on the eBay purchase. (The fob parts on the right hand side of photo below).
