Took me a while, but I've just received a pair of the TRW front drop links through, so this is just a my initial opinion having not fitted or tested these parts yet.

I have a Unipart component to compare it with. The TRW is slightly shorter ( approximately 3mm) from centre of bottom rose joint to base of top rose joint stud. The spanner flats on the stud are much closer to the original fitment and using a standard spanner won't push the boot off.
