Default Vomit covered woman loses case

This is truly amazing.

Apparently a woman called Cheryl Pile got so drunk she was arrested. In the cell the Police noticed she had fallen over and vomited all over herself.

So they went in, cleaned her up, changed her clothes.

She was fined £60 for being drunk and disorderly but brought a case against the Police for breaching her human rights.

The High Court Judge rejected the case saying that changing her clothes was “an act of decency”.

Dismissing Ms Pile’s case the Judge said that the claimant had sought the right “to establish the liberty of English inebriated subjects to lie undisturbed whilst marinating in their own vomit”.

He went on to say that allowing her case would be seen as a “grotesque result” if she had been awarded compensation.

I just hope this stupid woman now gets the full focus and attention such crass behaviour deserves.
