I am so old that in my day we had to do all these things ourselves as there were very few regs, ( Not even any speed limits for cars.
)
I ran building sites and had to control the work of all the trades on site.
I learned lots of detailed info. on all the trades by looking and listening.
Plus research by myself on how to various components work in central heating systems. Such as variable voltage generation in certain metals according to the amount of heat applied.
Very well aware of all the dangers involved and would advise anyone with a problem with their household equipment to go to a specialist.
However not the 'SPECIALIST' that left the boiler previously mentioned in a dangerous condition.
