Default Condenser fan test without any AC refrigerant

Hi all, back once more with some quick questions about my ZT.

Now that the sun is out again, I have found that the AC is not working in my car. Looked around the forum for a bit, and I found the standard condenser fan check. With the engine on, AC off, and the demist function on my fan is not spinning at all. I have a 2002 ZT and I don't see a silver/gold resistor behind the fan, leading me to believe I have a three speed fan (is this valid reasoning?).

I can see that my condenser is shot, figure it has not been replaced in its 280000 km lifetime. Also, the car had sat for a good 1.5 years before I got it running again, meaning that all refrigerant is probably gone. Therefore, to me it seems like the perfect time to replace the condenser, get some fresh O-rings (from DMGRS) and get her filled up.

Now, the lack of condenser fan movement got me worried that either the condenser fan is broken or the is an electrical issue somewhere in the circuit. This leaves me with three questions:

1: Is my initial condenser fan check valid even if there is no refrigerant in the system?

2: Can I follow the same instructions given here (https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...=318222&page=2) by Arctic if I have a 3-speed fan? (will the control box be the same, do I measure voltage over the same wires?)

3: If a replacement fan is needed, is this the item I need to get for a ZT 190? (https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-PGJ000100ASSY)

Thanks in advance!
