Sadly my wife's uncle has decided to give up driving (he's very late 80's) so he needs to sell his Rover 75 Club SE 2.0ltr V6.

The gentleman is a very interesting fellow who was chief mechanic in the old Ensign and Lotus Formula 1 1960's/70's race teams (he was Jody Scheckter's engineer at Lotus), also with Lotus for the Le Man races with the Lotus Elites in the 60's; so you know that he is a stickler for engineering. This car has had everything done as it needed it.

So, its an 02 plate Club SE in navy blue (JFW paint code) with perfect cloth interior in dark grey. It has the lovely walnut dash, radio cassette, with 6 disc changer in the glovebox (why did they do that?). It has the xenon headlights as well. Its a 2.0ltr V6 manual with just 74.5k on the clock. There is a "get you home" spare in the boot, but I have a full size spare wheel (Rover 75 but different pattern) if you want it? It was MOT'd without issue a couple of weeks ago and not used since. It has a fully documented service record, always maintained by the same garage. The old chap bought it when it was 1 or 2 years old. He has used it very little in the last couple of years (I understand it did 400 miles between last two MOT's!). It drives smoothly and faultlessly, but is now looking for a really good home. Just need to add that it has a small scuff on the rear NS bumper that should polish out.

I reckon its worth £1200 (or very close to it) of anybody's money. I would have it myself if I didn't have my ZT190, the wife has an Astra GTC otherwise she would have it.
