Yes it's the condenser, it sounds like you need a new one, so it's bumper off, slam panel off, fan off and replace, before replacing you would have to de-gas your A/C if you have any in if not then your ok.

Cheers Arctic, had the front off yesterday to change the resistor to a gold one
AC might be beyond my ability though, will have to outsource that!
@simon you where absolutely right! Think I’ll get it degassed until I can repair it to take the strain out the system.
