Easiest way is rear seat base lift up & pull the carpet from under. Then remove rear ashtray from the centre console & remove the bolt. Remove 2 screws either side of the centre console just near the seat belt. Now you need a piece of wood or a strong willing helper to lift the console, while you roll the carpet up under the console & support it with the wood. This will give you access to the cover plate & the torx screws holding it. Remove these, lift the plate & do what you need to do
Refitting, as they say, reverse of this. Have fun
