Whilst my paintwork is in a generally good condition, I had occasion to effect a small touch up using the original Rover spray can.

It is clear that the paint has faded, which is not really a surprise but the degree of fade is.

Is there anyway to bring it back? A machine polish I would think would only address the clearcoat not underlying fade.
