I need to change the master cylinder. I have bought the LHD Ap one that I need to change the pipe work over. Is it possible to just do it by disconnecting in car and replacing. Or do I need to take the battery out and disconnect in the the car to extend the pipework?.
I have never done it myself, but I believe this is possible - you just unclip the pipe connection at the back of the old master and slip on the LHD master with no need to remove/disturb the pipework. You will need to bleed the system through afterwards, of course.
