An interesting point re insurance.
Ignoring the self inflicted nature for a moment, would it be considered an accidental damage claim for insurance, or a break down for AA / RAC? I mean, if their cambelt snapped due to their negligence, they wouldn't claim on their insurance, they'd call the breakdown truck. Or would they?
