I found I must have had a mouse under the bonnet of mine some point in the past as the bonnet buffers had been nibbled and when I dropped the under bonnet soundproofing they also been nibbling the sponge tape which holds the washer jet wiring plugs...
A while ago I was also working on a friend's bus which was exhibiting all sort of weird things with warning lights, removing the dashboard revealed that mice had chewed through some of the wiring loom. Took a while to work out where all the wires went, including a link which was chewed both ends so didn't realise it was missing.
