even getting to talk to the job centre was hard work and getting to a list of jobs on line was no easier. Make if difficult and people wont work!

Over here jobs are advertised online, in a similar way to the boards. (I remember them). If I recall it is
www.nijobfinder.com or similar.
I work in a govt. Dept.and there are quite a number of agency staff employed. Signing up to an agency would be a good move, as it is in their interests to find work for you.
