Class 47 was the basic loco on the BR driving course up here when I was on it, early '80s. Went into the 47 at a nut and bolt level, for some reason the firing order has always stuck in my mind, 6-2-4-1-5-3 on A bank, 1-5-3-6-2-4 on B bank. No idea why I still remember that, never any use at the best of time
The class 27 was the 2nd loco on the course.
