Hi Stan.
I have seen that a few times when servicing and changing the oil filter on members cars, you can just about make out the cracking on the middle, medium O-ring on this oil filter cap.

Swapped out for one with new O-rings on
after smearing all the O-rings with some new oil.

All ways make sure the Large seal is in the right grove on the cap.
