I wonder how far they'll go with this.
Are you obliged to inform them if you have new tyres fitted that are a different brand from those that were fitted to the car from new?
Surely if the winter tyres are the correct size, speed rating etc for the car in question, I cannot see how the insurers can class them as a modification
It's crackers
Will they not pay out in the event of an accident, I wonder?
