I swapped over a rectifier/brush pack from a Spare Alt on Sunday in the rain
to get me to work monday.
THe old pack had very short brushes @ 139k miles
Seems to have sorted the low charging out
.
So this lot was just for replacing those bits on my spare
.
But as you say easy, 15 mins or so to get the rectifer off the car, and then similar on the brushes. takes longer to clean it all up
