Remove the large cable ( 13mm socket)
Then used a 1/4 drive socket set with extensions to get at the the 3 cover nuts and then the 2 main Rectifier nuts.
( also pull off the plastic cover Brian mentioned)
There are 2 other electrical fixings ( small bolts/screws) on the pack either hex or phillips headed.
Then wiggle it off the alternator studs..

Perhaps disconnect the battery negative terminal first ?????----
