Sorry Stan. I don't want to argue with you on this, but in the Haynes manual I believe that they refer to the clutch sharing the same fluid reservoir as the brakes.
Now "we" all know this is not true. But it is perfectly reasonable for a competent mechanic to refer to a haynes book to check a parts location.

After all I feel I am a fully competent mechanic, but when I replaced the bearings in the gearbox on my wifes car I still looked in the manual to see where some things were routed/located.
