As you have an MG ZT you may find that you can get classic cover on it. I know some companies are now not offering it but about a year ago I was looking to insure a 75. I tried the company who insure my Dolomite and they and others said they will not cover a 75 until it is 20 years old but an MG they will even though it is basically the same car.
Has something to do with MG being considered a brand more likely to be owned by an enthusiast and looked after rather than a Rover being an old banger and used until its ready for scrap.
