This guide meant I only spent one hour 30 minutes doing the job, thank you so much. My car is no quiet and doesn't sound like its being followed by a helicopter!

I presume you are referring to the washer below in the photos.

If so yes its standard you have to put this washer back on before doing adding a new hub nut.
