Speaking to this friend who is a parts supplier for rover 75 and mgzt he has advised me that it needs hard wiring I.e cables splicing and connected. I am not confident enough to do this myself. Is anyone at the meeting able to help me with it at all and I will pay you as I really want it fitted now. In the near future I wanted a rear view camera installed as has the connections also with the kit. My car is a mg ztt estate so that was the reason I wanted it fitted so had upto date sat nav. Mp3 player and future rear camera fitted. The adviser who lives in Manchester and sources parts for MGBD rover P600's specialist in Wolverhampton advised me of the kit and said it was plug and play but I have found out the hard way. He has said he will be up here in a few weeks and can do it but I was just wondering if someone at the meet could help me and at least I have a local guy to help me out going forward as I want to start towing the caravan next year in it. Kind regards Chris
I've never done this but from what I have read on the subject further down the loom at the back of the ash tray is anther connector that is BMW type this is where you plug an adaptor into that is readily available to connect to after market units.

Something along the lines of this:
