I know the shake test looks pretty severe… anyway, nothing that a small fortune won’t fix, and in the meantime I’m driving round in the mechanic’s courtesy car, one of those Chinese MG6 machines. Quite a pleasant car from a performance and handling point of view, but various sensors are always giving trouble on it, telling me that the tyres are flat, the “uphill holding” isn't available etc.


And it has one of those utterly hateful start/stop thingies
