Rob, thanks so much for this, and your original guide too. OK, will order a top (and maybe casing) too… or, if my courage fails me, wait till you've done it



One thing I forgot to mention… when stripping it down, I marked the outer casing top and bottom as you suggested. However, when I took the top off, the actual motor rotated quite a bit (seems to spin very freely), and I had no idea how to ensure it went back to its starting point, or if that mattered… any comment? I don’t know how it knows how to position itself when operating the mirror…
