mine does this.
SOMETIMES... holding the unlock button will pop the boot without unlocking the rest of the car, but more often than not, holding the button will unlock the rest of the car, and then pop the boot.

I wonder if it is distance related - As in it sees the signal, which is interrupted, then sees the same signal again - interpreting it as two presses?
