Default EML light on

I had the EML light come on and stay on for a couple of miles after starting my CDTi yesterday, but it went out after a couple of miles, when the engine was up to temperature. Car ran fine. I'll check the LP fuel sensor connection and MAF plug, but any obvious other things I should check ?

Is this an early indication of MAF going out of spec. ? I did notice in the hot weather last week, a slight hesitancy pulling away on a couple of occasions which I recall was an early symptom of the MAF going out of spec, from my experience with my previous 75CDT. The MAF was within spec when PhilT4 checked it about a year ago.

Oh, and plenum/ECU is completely dry before someone suggests that !

All comments welcome

Thanks
