Regardless of the quality (or lack therein) of the paint on the Indian arms, there are various other factors at play that would prevent me from ever fitting these components out of the box.
It has been covered on countless occasions, but they simply are poor quality end of story.
However if they are the only option to be fitted, have them sandblasted and paint them inside and out with a quality zinc based anti rust paint, followed by the outer coat of your preferred wet paint system, not powder coat, and finally before fitting, a coating of cavity wax.
I've seen these red rusty after less than two years fitted to the car, and compared to the original arms, they're fairly poor in all respects.
