Source of problem
OK, got it back home where it starts and runs slightly better but I think I've found the problem. Blows a fine mist of oil smoke out of the exhaust but....when run with the filler cap off, it blows oil smoke out like a steam engine, and out of the water expansion chamber as well. Head gasket failure anyone?
