All of my diesel fleet have the inhose 'stat fitted simply as it's a sight easier and cheaper than spending three hours fitting the correct part.

Yeah what a pain they are to fit, and last time I purchased one it was £40+ and only lasted a few years before failing again, now I only fit 5’s and they seem to last for ages, my top tip for anyone fitting one is test it off the car first, with a probe to make sure it opens at the correct temp, had one in the past that opened early at 83 degrees lol
