Thanks, I've already read that through a few times now and as I say, I've fixed the cooling fan now and I did try the 'compressor solenoid test' but I don't know what to physically look for to see if the compressor is running or not. What I really want to know is how to see if the compressor is actually working and if the clutch is engaging as I'm trying to conclude whether the whole compressor is broken or not.
