I removed the 'black condom' from mine years ago and replaced it with an o ring that fits snugly into the cap. Im sure the condom is only there in the first place so it can be stored without fliud leaking from it before being sold as a sealed unit. Once a year using Gunson Eeze Bleed i push through about 200ml of clean fliud, which can only be good news for the master and slave seals.
