All depends on your requirements or how you use the car! I personally wouldn't ever need to use a fast charger except to try one out, I have no commute since retiring & still use public transport 50-50 with my hybrid Niro. For me I'd plug it in overnight and program the car to start charging between 12:00am-4:00am as my utility company have a BEV tariff which costs 5p/Kwh, The pre-heating would take power from my house, It would cost literally pennies to wake up to a "full tank" every morning.


Or! VW have just announced yesterday they're installing 2400 chargers in 600 Tesco stores and they will be FREE CHARGING while you shop so you could pre-condition then for nowt.
