It's a 19 year old sub £600 car, it's not going to fly through a proper MOT. The sheets not as bad as it looks, many cars will be on rotten rear suspension arms. Front arms average £80, you take a risk on quality. Rear arms about £118 each cheapest, makes sense to do both. The brake pipes need proper coat of looking at, they may be ok, but would look at replacement in future, not an expensive job or parts wise. I was being harsh about slave, I'm just bitter from my own experience with diesels, yours is 1.8 auto so get the rear arms done and the future is bright, it's a cracking colour and Dawn's already sank a fair bit of money into it.
