When was the last time anyone watched a river bed being dredged deeper? The rubbish put out the rivet authorities that dredging ‘does not work’ are complete liars. I have watched two rivers being dredged in my lifetime. I have watched while in Germany the river Mosel at Reil being dredged, and the dredger tied up on the bank for the night before starting again in the morning. What should happen is they should be taken to court for dereliction of duty, then they might realise their omissions are causing people ,and insurances money and heartache. Glad I live up in the sky between Birmingham and Walsall.
