Had front bumper off recently looking for the reason my headlight level thumb wheel no longer worked. Whilst there I discovered the earth points on top of both front legs were badly corroded, the O/S connected by only a few strands of wire. May be worth a look if all your lights have failed on one side. My lights do appear brighter since I repaired the earth points and my thumb wheel works again.
