Seriously - most of the kits are pretty good.
If you have access to a polisher then it's wet and dry from 800 (if they're bad) working through 1000, 1200 & 1500 (alternating grades up/down and left/right) then a course followed by a fine polish and finally you need a sealant with UV blocking properties.
Remember to mask off around the lights and better to do a bit on each and go back again so the lenses don't get hot while being polished.
