It works very well indeed. Don’t expect the gauge to work 100% though as sometimes it does and sometime doesn’t work but the engine will be heating up as it should and heat inside will be as it should.
The question is though is this. What makes you think there is a problem with the stat in the 1st place? I ask this because it can take a good 10 to 15 mins of driving (up to 30 mins at idle) for the engine to reach temperature and to give hot air inside.
