Happy to say, the diesel is now back on the road. I must say, that I think the diesel is a more comfortable car to drive, considering the V6 2.5 has done almost the same miles. Seems more ‘put together’ than the petrol, considering it is 12 months older than the petrol. The exhaust joy is something I miss on the diesel, especially as I had a new stainless back box fitted, with slight sport note. I wont be missing the average 27 mpg over 1000 miles. The diesel will be doing around 46 mpg round the houses, and 52 on a run. The insurance is also cheaper by £25, and the tax is £140 cheaper. So I have made £165.00 saving to start with. It also went through the MOT with just one advisory, slight oil leak. Did not say where, and I can not find one? So now just waiting for everything to come together, for a nice trip to see my son and family in Germany again .
