Add to those the habitual and miserably failure of far too many modern drivers to dip their powerful headlights before you have been totally blinded ... that is if they bother to dip them at all now. It did not used to be like that. Indeed, it was almost an unwritten law or competition even to dip before the approaching driver did.
This is something I still do but I’ve noticed many don’t bother now preferring to blind you as they appear either over a hill or from around a bend in the road then after they’ve blinded you they dip their lights
