Seems to be a useful discussion on the subject, always likely to be pros and cons for each

I think the main point is to fill them with grease prior to fitting, and don't damage them in the process. I've seen some useful guides on the forum. I'm inclined to get the cheaper set from DMGRS mainly for the 24 month warrantee.

When I looked at mine yesterday the top rubber boot was full of water and came bubbling out when I squeezed it
Once I've finished the crankshaft pulley I'll be putting some new links on.
