MkII 75 bought at under 35k now at 55k no pump failure (yet)

Plus never had a diesel pump failure in any of my Rovers, and they have all been diesel.

Can I really be that lucky.

Always used nothing but Texaco diesel, and never let the tank go below 1/4 full, most of the time it is around 1/2 full
Hi that's very interesting I put my hand up here and sometimes don't top up until the fuel low light comes on and there may be a case of keeping the tank 1/4 full but I have read accounts where some members have kept their tanks 1/4 full and still suffer pump problems. Generally I haven't read much about Mk2 failures; are they a more robust ? and are they readily available for any future fitment
