As it happens after manufacturing the relief valve, the spring pressure was calculated by compressing an assortment of small springs until coilbound on a set of kitchen scales, and multiplying the result by 24 accounting for the total area of the valve to give the rating in PSI

When everything was fitted back together, the T4 live data showed a LP reading of 425Kpa or 61.64 PSI, near enough for pit work
