Norwich firm gets MG dealership
20 July 2007
The MG brand is on its way back to Norfolk with the appointment of a dealership following the revival of the famous car marque.
Holden Group, in Norwich, was the authorised MG Rover dealer until the car maker went bust two years ago. But the MG brand now has Chinese owners, and 13 UK dealerships - including Holden - have been named.
Holden will have a dedicated sales and workshop area at its site in Whiffler Road, alongside its Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge franchises.
General manager David Marjoram said: “We are delighted and privileged to have been chosen as one of the first MG franchise appointments, and look forward to being associated with the MG brand and heritage once again.
“I understand that the contracts should be signed next month and we shall be expecting our first new MG TF Roadsters soon after.”
