Default Aircon condenser photo

I'm following up a growling noise I get when using the aircon . The air-con type is the full ATC type on a v6 conny , and the noise varies with engine revs and sounds as if it comes from the centre console .
I have read elsewhere on here that one cause might be a corroded condenser with missing fins causing overheating ; mine looks to me to be good , but I'm attaching a photo of it here to invite comment or opinion from yourselves
The pic was taken through the cowling and is representative of all of it that I can see ; running my finger along the fins does not cause any damage or breakup.
Further info , the fan has had new brushes in my ownership and passes the demist test ok . I had a quick regas at the local garage whilst having it MOT'd , and this seemed to stop the problem for just one day before it returned , so suggests a leak ? The garage don't really know what they are doing with aircon and could not help further . Car is '51 reg on 119k miles.
What do you think of the condenser pic ?
