As far as it goes, I view this bumper type as a liability and I've often considered fitting a standard bumper to the car, as Mark has pointed out the parts to repair any defect are made of unobtainium.
This car is a diesel connoisseur, and came out of the factory with the premium bumper fitted.

I'm tempted to offer you a swap Brian but I too would worry about problems down the line.I love the look but is it would be a constant concern should repairs become necessary.
