I previously owned a R75 2.5 v6 Auto for 6 years during which I did about 22000 miles (55k when I bought it, about 77k when I sold it).
Not daily. Mostly holidays and weekends, so a mix of (often very) short trips and long (100s of miles) trips
Overall MPG during my ownership: 28
Best: 36.5 Achieved twice (steady trip Essex to Liverpool, and another from Yorkshire to Essex)
Worst: 20
All fill-ups and calculations brim to brim
Current R75 2.5 v6 Auto
Owned for just over a year and only done about 1300 miles, mostly short runs (due to lockdown), so not really representative
Overall: 15 !
Best: 26 (to/at/from holiday in Norfolk - when holidays were allowed!)
Worst: 13.7 !!
But as others have said, you don't buy a v6 Auto for its economy
From 2012 to 2015 I had a R75 1.8 Turbo Manual which was a daily (40 miles round trip commute) and did 35,000 miles in my ownership. Sold it at 118k miles
Overall: 34,6 MPG
Best: 42.1 (Essex to Liverpool)
Worst: 29.7
